The programme is coordinated by The Centre for Scientific Research: Renewable Energy Systems and Recycling.   • Environment Design Processes and Risk Evaluation - offers advanced lectures on pollution control and depollution processes, with a closer look on the materials and new processes which allow for the framing within the environmental quality-imposed dynamics, with affordable costs. In the second year of studies, students can opt for one of the two tracks of scientific research:

Framework Directive 89/391/CE (implemented in Romania by Law 319/2006 – Work Safety and Health Law). Mechatronics and Robotics

The master’s degree domain within which this particular study programme falls into is Mechatronics and Robotics, a 2-year course with four semesters (120 ECTS credits). Seen as an essential follow-up of the bachelor’s studies, the master’s programme aims at developing some formative and research programmes in order to obtain in-depth knowledge within the transdisciplinary subdomains of mechatronic engineering in line with the present tendencies in science and also ensuring a synergetic combination between fine mechanics, electronic command and control systems and computer technology, which allows for the sketching, designing, setting off and exploiting high-performance automatic systems. Social Assistance

Major Field – Social Sciences, field of study for the master’s degree programme – Social Work. The duration of the programme is 2 years (120 ECTS credit points). This master’s degree programme is aimed to perfect competences regarding research in the field of social work and community development. The graduates will develop their ability to apply the research theory and methodology characteristic of this field to community development. They will be able to conduct a diagnosis of the social services and programmes, draw up community or group profiles, implement and monitor intervention plans at community level, design an efficient community service management and promotion model. Likewise, practical abilities for working with marginal groups and various categories of people on social welfare will be developed.

 

Main subjects: Regional and community development strategies, Community intervention strategies for risk groups, Quality of life, etc.

 

Prospects after graduation: the occupational field targeted by this programme’s graduates will be mainly health and social work, public services and community development. Graduates can take positions as counsellors in public and private institutions, higher level social workers, chiefs of departments in public institutions, etc.

Environmental Engineering

PThe Bachelor domain within which this study programme falls into is Environmental Engineering. The length of studies is 4 years (240 ECTS credits). During the years of study, the students gain interdisciplinary competences which allow them, at the end of their studies, to work for the design, implementation and the management of processes and depollution technologies, as well as for the development of products with a lower impact on the environment and for the audit of production systems.
