 We look forward to seeing you at the 20^th National Conference of Industrial-Organizational Psychology “Horia D. Pitariu”.

The event will be organized online by the Association for Industrial-Organizational Psychology (APIO) and the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences (Transilvania University of Brașov) between 27 and 29 November 2020.

The main theme of the conference is “Entrepreneurship - Challenges for I/O Psychology”, along with other relevant topics in the field of I/O psychology.

Continuing the tradition of APIO conferences, we offer both current and future practitioners a series of workshops on developing the professional skills relevant to the field of human resources psychology. Moreover, this year we continue the series of state-of-the-art presentations in Romania, as an opportunity to know the scientific research activity of some Romanian experts and to emphasize the key information regarding major research topics in the organizational field. The exchanges of scientifically validated research ideas and good practices will take place during the scientific communication sessions; whereas the dilemmatic topics, which can be subject of analysis, will be approached in the discussion panels.

We invite you to present papers that fall under the section Completed research or under the section Ongoing research /work in progress. This type of presentation refers to research projects in various stages, but not completed, the aim being to communicate the interest in a particular research topic and to get feedback from the APIO community.

The special guest of this year’s edition, Prof. Christian KORUNKA (University of Vienna), will present a lecture entitled “Intensification and flexibilization as important trends in the current world of work”.
