The international conference “New Methods in Finsler Geometry”, in its 4th edition
2-6 September 2024, “Sergiu T. Chiriacescu” Conference Centre of Transilvania University
The conference aims to be a benchmark in developing and promoting a field of mathematics in full ascension and with multiple applications, namely Finsler geometry. This event will bring together in the city of Brașov today’s best-known researchers, thus being a forum for them to share and start new collaborations.
The conference continues a biennial series started in 2016. The previous editions were held in: Leipzig, Germany (2016); Pisa, Italy (2018) and Eindhoven, the Netherlands (2022). Because of the pandemic, the 2020 edition could not take place.
