ISIP 2019 - International Summer School on Image Processing

The ISIP event is directed particularly at students at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, as well as students at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science within Transilvania University of Brașov. This summer school aims to initiate participants in digital image processing, a field of interest with various applications in modern informatics.

The event will take place between 15-26 July in the P Building of Transilvania University and the programme will include a course section – a lecture between 9:00-12:00 and a section dedicated to laboratory applications between 13:30-18:00. Dr. Detlef Richter from the Technical University of Wiesbaden, Germany, will deliver the lectures.

Knowledge of C++, C# or Python programming, algorithmics, and mathematics at high school level is necessary for participation.

Registration should be done via email at ioana.plajer@unitbv.ro by 24 June, and participation should also be confirmed via email. The maximum number of participants is 25. The event benefits from the financial support of Siemens Industry Software.
