Brasov Society of General Practice, in partnership with Transilvania University, through the Faculty of Medicine, invites you to the third edition of AS-PRIM Conference.

The event will take place between 11 and 14 December 2024, at “Sergiu T. Chiriacescu” International Conference Centre, and will bring together distinguished medical professionals for a high-quality scientific dialogue.

The topic of this year’s conference is “First-line Diagnosis”, and the current edition aims to bring up the diagnosis-related challenges and responsibilities, with a focus on the particularities of primary care.

The conference will feature 120 acclaimed speakers, and its scientific programme includes eight plenary sessions addressing topics such as diagnosis integrated into the bio-psychosocial model, use of the guides to good practice, as well as risk analysis. Over 30 interactive workshops will be held and will provide the participants with opportunities to delve deeper into the field of clinical, laboratory and imaging diagnostics.

Moreover, the conference programme includes a course on the Point of Care Ultrasonography (POCUS) technique, an essential tool in modern medical practice. On this occasion, a new poster competition will take place, which is intended to resident physicians, doctoral students and nurses, and aims to foster innovative approaches and applied research. At the same time, a multidisciplinary course will be dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of iron-deficiency anaemia in women, with an emphasis on the research advances and perspectives in this field.
