24-25 June 2026, “Sergiu T. Chiriacescu” Conference Centre, Transilvania University of Brașov

The Interdisciplinary Doctoral School within Transilvania University of Brașov, in partnership with UNITA Alliance and Enformation, organises DoCo2026 International Doctoral Conference, to be held in “Sergiu T. Chiriacescu” Conference Centre, between 24 and 25 June 2026.

The third edition of the doctoral conference is an international scientific event addressed to the doctoral students of Romania and abroad, which encompasses a wide range of fields, from engineering and exact sciences, through social sciences and humanities, to medical sciences. The conference provides a forum for the doctoral students to present their ongoing research, as well as to discuss their research questions, goals, methods and results with their fellow doctoral students and with the academic teaching personnel, thus gaining new perspectives and feedback.

The invitation addresses all doctoral students, irrespective of the stages of their doctoral work. The participants can opt for any of the following presentation formats: research papers, scientific reports or doctoral research plans (for the first-year doctoral students). The conference includes plenary and keynote speeches offered by reputed scholars, as well as workshops. Within the presentation sessions, constructive discussions between the participants, academics and researchers, will be encouraged.

The conference also aims at fostering the exchange of ideas and expertise, by facilitating the interaction and networking among colleagues, professors and researchers. All participants will receive certificates of participation, and the presented papers will be published in the indexed journal series Bulletin of Transilvania University of Brașov.
