26 - 28 March 2026, ”Sergiu T. Chiriacescu” Conference Centre

Between 26 and 28 March 2026, Transilvania University of Brașov will host the 29^th International Conference on German Studies, entitled “Konflikt und Identität – Politische Spaltungen und kulturelle Repräsentationen im europäischen Gegenwartsdiskurs”. 

The conference brings together professors, researchers and specialists from many European universities to discuss the relations among political conflicts, identity and cultural representations in contemporary Europe. 

The event is organised by UNITBV’s Faculty of Letters, in collaboration with Institut für Deutschlandforschung, Ruhr-University Bochum and The Society of Germanists in Romania – Brașov subsidiary.
