VESA 2026 International Conference

Transilvania University of Brașov will be holding, between 24 and 25 September 2026, the sixth edition of the international conference Ethical Values in Nowadays’ Society (VESA), this time themed on the Challenges of Artificial Intelligence in Modern Society.
The conference approaches the ethical challenges brought about by the development and application of artificial intelligence within contemporary society, with a particular emphasis on education, research and higher education. The event will bring together professors, researchers and specialists in various fields, for an interdisciplinary exchange of ideas, expertise and best practices on the responsible and ethical use of artificial intelligence.
The conference agenda includes a workshop on academic ethics, particularly on the identification of practical solutions for combatting and sanctioning the illegal or unethical use of artificial intelligence in education and research.
