The executives of the Technical University of Moldova were welcomed today in Brașov, for a meeting with the representatives of Transilvania University of Brașov. Following the discussions between the Rectors and the Vice-Rectors of the two universities, an extension of the Erasmus + agreement, already existing between the two institutions, was signed. Starting today, there will be two new fields of partnership: Law, as well as Architecture and Civil Engineering. Thus, both the students and the academic personnel of Transilvania University of Brașov and its partner University in the Republic of Moldova will benefit from the advantages of this new Erasmus + agreement. 

Equally, the representatives of the two universities discussed good practices in education, research and in the field of human and administrative resource management. The dialogue focused in particular on the initiation of study programmes complete with a double degree diploma, as well as on the joint participation in the call for proposals of the projects financed under the ERASMUS + Programme.

At the same time, the finalization of the Regulations on filling teaching and scientific research vacancies in the Technical University of Moldova was discussed, all the more so as the Rector of Transilvania University of Brașov, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ioan Vasile Abrudan is the President of the Council for Strategic and Institutional Development of the Technical University of Moldova.

The visit was also a good opportunity to develop new directions of collaboration between the Technical University of Moldova and Transilvania University of Brașov.
