“Transilvania 2025” Prize of Excellence
Registrations until 13 June 2025
Are you a student at UNITBV and have you participated in various competitions, conferences, artistic events, obtaining outstanding results? You can enter the competition for “Transilvania” excellence scholarship.
The scholarship amounts to 2.500 RON and is granted from the university’s own revenue to a single undergraduate or graduate student. Thus, the awardees of various prizes or the remarkable achievers in national and international competitions can register for this competition until 13 June. Each student’s files and results will be analysed by a committee; and, depending on the scores, the awardee of “Transilvania 2025” Prize of Excellence will be established.
Ten criteria will be considered in order to rank the submitted files:
1 Patent of invention/innovation – 100 points;
2. Prizes at national or international professional competitions (1st prize - 50 points, 2nd prize – 40 points, 3rd prize - 30 points, mention – 20 points);
3. Prize obtained at a national or international cultural-artistic competition (1st prize – 50 points, 2nd prize – 40 points, 3rd prize – 30 points, mention – 20 points);
4. Participation in prestigious national or international cultural events (individually or in a team - 20 points/event);
5. Participation in international competitions (world, Olympic, European, Balkan - 20 points/competition);
6. First place obtained at national championships other than the academic ones – 40 points;
7. Papers published in ISI journals with impact factor – 100 points/ first-authored paper, 70 points/ co-authored paper;
8. Prizes obtained individually at international scientific, cultural-artistic or sports events (1st prize – 50 points, 2ndprize – 40 points, 3rd prize – 30 points);
9. Prizes obtained individually at national scientific, cultural-artistic or sports events (1st prize – 30 points, 2nd prize – 20 points, 3rd prize – 10 points);
10. Participation with papers in specialised conferences – 20 points.
The student obtaining the highest score will be declared the awardee of “Transilvania” Prize of Excellence.
Calendar of the competition:
2.06.2025 – 13 06.2025 – submission of the files to each faculty, according to appendix IV, lett. B and appendix IX in the Regulations on Granting Scholarships and Other Forms of Financial Support;
18.06.2025 – analysis of the files by the Faculty Scholarship Committee;
19.06.2025 – analysis of the files by the University Scholarship Committee;
20.06.2025 – display of the results;
24.06.2025 – the winner’s festive awarding within the Gala of Valedictorians.
