The Evening of Saint Nicholas
6 December 2022, at 6.00 p.m. “Sergiu T. Chiriacescu” Conference Centre of Transilvania University
The concert dedicated to the Evening of Saint Nicholas will include the most beautiful and well-known songs of Romanian interwar, French and Portuguese music. They will be complemented by the engaging fast-paced melodies and rhythms of American swing, in which Adrian Nour, our guest from Bucharest, will challenge the audience and introduce them to the secrets of tap dancing. The voices will perfectly interweave in the show’s duets, and the special orchestrations of the music pieces, as well as the professional instrumentalists’ improvisations will surely win over the audience.
The show's soloists will be the well-known actor, musician and soloist of “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theatre of Bucharest, Adrian Nour, and Monica Opra, a former graduate of Transilvania University of Brașov, who enjoys over two decades’ experience as a vocal soloist in various bands, who has performed many leading roles in musicals such as “La belle musique francaise”, “Querer”, and who also has multiple collaborations with the Brașov Philharmonic, as well as with several theatres in our country.
