Free tutoring courses for the Baccalaureate and University Admission
Starting on 12 March 2025
This year as well, starting on 12 March, Transilvania University of Brașov continues the tradition of supporting the 11th and 12th graders, by offering them free preparatory classes for the Baccalaureate exam. The courses and training workshops will take place online for Mathematics and Computer Science, and physically for Romanian language and literature, and German language and literature. At the same time, our university will offer free tutoring courses for the admission to the Faculty of Music.
The preparatory classes are offered by the academic teaching personnel at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, the Faculty of Letters and the Faculty of Music; and the curricula and full schedule of the preparatory courses for each discipline are available on the admission website: https://admitere.unitbv.ro/pregatire-bac-si-admitere.html
The courses of Mathematics will address the essentials of algebra, mathematical analysis, trigonometry and geometry; whereas the courses of Computer Science will focus on algorithms, graphs, vectors and matrices, while offering problem variants for the applicative practice of knowledge.
For the Romanian language and literature courses, the pupils will benefit from expert training that will develop their both literary analysis and efficient communication skills. Within the courses, the emphasis will be placed on the stylistic analysis of the literary texts, helping the pupils to thoroughly understand the creations of the great classics and interwar prose writers, but also on the development of their ability to argue and defend opinions in a coherent and structured way.
As regards German language and literature, the preparatory workshops for the Baccalaureate exam will be held together with “J. Honterus” National College.
At the same time, the Faculty of Music within Transilvania University of Brașov supports the future students by organising free preparation sessions for the 2025 university entrance exam. They are dedicated to the Theory of Music academic discipline, as well as to the Vocal Music Performance and Instrumental Music Performance study programmes. The physical sessions will take place at the Faculty of Music, Z building, and the online sessions will be available on the university’s dedicated platform.
Through all these activities, Transilvania University of Brașov aims at providing the pupils and future students with the necessary support to achieve their goals and to thoroughly prepare for the exams. Everyone interested is invited to attend these free courses, where they will benefit from the academic teaching personnel’s expertise and the resources made available by the university.
