Apply for “Transilvania” excellence scholarship!

If you have participated in national or international competitions this academic year, if your papers or projects have been awarded or published in specialized journals, apply for “Transilvania” excellence scholarship!
The value of the scholarship amounts to 3.000 lei and it is granted to an undergraduate or graduate student, based on competition. Thus, students who have won various awards or have notable results in national and international competitions, can enter this competition. A committee will analyse each student’ file and his/her results; then, depending on the obtained score, one winner of “Transilvania” excellence scholarship will be established.
Ten criteria will be taken into account in ranking the files:
- Patent of invention / innovation - 100 points;
- Prizes at national or international professional competitions (first prize - 50 points, second prize - 40 points, third prize - 30 points, mention - 20 points);
- Prize obtained in a cultural-artistic competition of national or international level (first prize - 50 points, second prize - 40 points, third prize - 30 points, mention - 20 points);
- Participation in prestigious national or international cultural events (individually or collectively - 20 points / event);
- Participation in international competitions (world, Olympic, European, Balkan - 20 points / competition;
- First place obtained in national championships, other than the university ones - 40 points;
- Papers published in ISI journals with SRI - 100 points / first-authored paper, 70 points / co-authored paper;
- Prizes obtained individually at scientific, cultural-artistic or sports events, at international level (first prize - 50 points, second prize - 40 points, third prize - 30 points);
- Prizes obtained individually at scientific, cultural-artistic or sports events, at national level (first prize - 30 points, first prize - 20 points, third prize - 10 points);
- Participation with paper in specialized conferences - 20 points.
Calendar of the competition:
- 2 – 11.06.2021 – submission of the files, according to the Appendix 4 of the Regulations on Scholarships to the Vice-Rectorate for students and the relation with the economic and socio-cultural environment, room 107, Rectorate building
- 14 – 18.06.2021 – analysis of the files by the university scholarship committee
- 22.06.2021 – announcement of results
- 24.06.2021 – festive awarding of the winner within the Gala of Valedictorians
