Documentary exhibition

Transilvania University of Brașov hosts, at “Sergiu T Chiriacescu” Aula, the documentary exhibition “Greek personalities that played a role in the Romanians’ history, from antiquity to present time”, organized under the aegis of the Greek Embassy in Bucharest. The exhibition is part of the series of events celebrating the bi-centenary of the Greek Revolution, and has already been presented to the public at the Palace of Parliament and at the Romanian Academy.
The official opening of the exhibition will take place on Thursday, 21 October 2021, 16:00, at “Sergiu T Chiriacescu” Aula of Transilvania University of Brașov, and will be honoured by the presence of: Pelagia Gkountra, Consul, Greek Embassy in Bucharest, Flavia Boghiu, Deputy Mayor of Brașov, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ioan Vasile Abrudan, Rector of Transilvania University, Dragoș Gabriel Zisopol, President of the Hellenic Union of Romania, Lemonia Chiriac, President of the Hellenic Community of Brașov, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adrian Lăcătuș, Director of the Multicultural Centre of Transilvania University of Brașov. The exhibition will be open for the public between 22 October and 12 November 2021, with visiting hours from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 and 18:00.
