UNITBV, among the top Romanian universities, in the QS EECA University Rankings 2022

Present for the fourth consecutive year in the QS Rankings of Universities in Emerging Europe and Central Asia, Transilvania University of Brașov has been ranked 156th this year, out of a total of 450 universities included in this prestigious top.
Overall, 20 Romanian universities appear in the QS EECA University Rankings 2022. Among them, Babeș Bolyai University ranks first, and withal 43rd in the general top, followed by the University of Bucharest and by the Polytechnic University of Bucharest. Transilvania University of Brașov ranks 9th among the Romanian universities. Last year, Transilvania University was ranked 190th in the general ranking; for 2022, the higher education institution of our city has climbed 34 positions.
Several indicators were taken into account in order to achieve the ranking: academic reputation (30%), employer reputation (20%), faculty/student ratio (10%), papers per faculty (10%), international research network (10%), web impact (5%), staff with a PhD (5%), citations per paper (5%), international faculty (2.5%) and international students (2.5%).
