Concert Requiem in D minor by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
4 April 2023, starting at 7:00 p.m.
The Music Centre of Transilvania University invites you to attend a special concert, meant to capture from a musical perspective the spiritual valences of the period preceding the celebration of the Lord’s Resurrection. The work that closes Mozart’s rich compositional portfolio, the Requiem in D minor, K 626, will be listened to in an exceptional performance, which brings together vocal soloists of national and international scope: Cristina Radu-Giurgiu, Noémi Korácsony, Stefan von Korch (Cluj-Napoca) and Alin Anca (Hamburg, Germany). They will have at their side ASTRA Choir and the Choir of the Faculty of Music, conducted by Prof. dr. habil. Ioan Oarcea, as well as the Orchestra of the Faculty of Music. This performing ensemble will be conducted by Lect. dr. Traian Ichim. Moreover, the setting in which this masterpiece of the musical creation of all times will be reiterated completes the aesthetic profile of the entire event.
