Along with the awarding of the 20 valedictorians, Transilvania Excellence Scholarship was granted to Mihai Florian Miu, a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. This scholarship is granted every year by UNITBV to a single student who, throughout the academic year, has participated in national or international competitions, has been involved in academic activities or projects, or has published articles in prestigious journals. The scholarship is worth 3,000 RON.
The Gala of Valedictorians is an event that has already become a tradition for Transilvania University of Brașov. Annually, the students who obtain the highest average grade at the end of the 3, 4 or 6 study years are awarded by the management of Transilvania University of Brașov.
