Transilvania University of Brasov, through the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, implements the Erasmus project "Global Teachers for a Sustainable Future" – ID KA220-HED-D577F109.

The GTSF project aims to design a training programme to develop global competences for the students in the field of education. Global competence refers to the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values required to understand and interact effectively with diverse cultures and to address global challenges.

GTSF also aims to develop new and innovative teaching practices for the internationalization of education. Internationalization in education means the integration of global perspectives, experiences and opportunitiesinto the teaching, learning, research and administrative functions of educational institutions.

Project objectives:

1. To equip future educators with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values to become global citizens and agents of change.

2. To provide future teachers with the necessary teaching tools to integrate education for sustainable development and global citizenship into their teaching.
