  • UNITBV provides free tutoring courses for Baccalaureate and University Admission

UNITBV provides free tutoring courses for Baccalaureate and University Admission

3 March 2026

This year as well, starting in the month of March, Transilvania University of Brașov organises free preparatory courses for the Baccalaureate, but also for the entrance examination to UNITBV. In the month of April, a simulation of the entrance exam to the Faculty of Medicine will also be organised.

Just like every year, this time as well, preparatory courses in Romanian Language and Literature, German Language, as well as Mathematics and Computer Science will be offered by the academic teaching personnel of Transilvania University of Brașov.

For Romanian Language and Literature, the courses will start on 20 March, and they aim at teaching the pupils how to stylistically analyse literary and non-literary texts, as well as how to properly use the Romanian language in various communication situations. Moreover, the training courses in Romanian Language and Literature are focused on articulate comprehension and on the description in clear concepts of the masterpieces written by the great classics and interwar prose writers. For the German Language, the preparatory classes start on 14 April.

During the mathematics courses, the essentials of algebra, mathematical analysis, trigonometry and geometry will be approached; whereas the computer-science courses include algorithms, graphs, vectors and matrices, but also problem variants.

For Mathematics, the preparatory courses will start on 12 March; and in Computer Science, the first course will be held on 11 March.

As a novelty, this year, preparatory courses will also be organised for the compulsory practical admission test to the Faculty of Physical Education and Mountain Sports. Therefore, between 14 and 20 July, the specialised academic teaching personnel will hold training courses in the Faculty’s (small) sports games hall, with a view to testing the “overall motor capacity”; in this context, the evaluation framework for the practical test will be covered, and the motor exercises of the test will be practiced.

As regards the Faculty of Music, the relevant preparatory courses for the entrance exam will be organised from the month of April. The free preparatory courses will be offered by the Faculty’s academic teaching personnel for the majors of Music (Music Theory, Solfeggio, Dictation), Instrumental Music Performance (piano, violin, viola, guitar, flute, clarinet and saxophone), as well as Vocal Music Performance.

As regards the Faculty of Medicine, the entrance exam simulation will be organised on 25 April. The organisational details will be displayed on the website https://medicina.unitbv.ro/en/ in early April.

All courses are free, they address the 11th- and 12th-graders, and they are held either with physical presence, on the premises of Transilvania University of Brașov, or online. The full schedule of the preparatory courses is available HERE.
