UNITA Prize for the most proficient master’s dissertation in the field of green sustainability

Transilvania University of Brașov, as a partner in the UNITA Alliance, launches here the call for the graduates to submit their applications for the UNITA Prize rewarding the best master’s dissertation in the field of green sustainability.
The graduates who defended their master’s dissertation between 1 September 2024 and 31 august 2026, corresponding to the 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 academic classes, are eligible to enter the competition.
The submitted dissertations must address at least one aspect of environmental sustainability, including but not limited to the following themes: climate change mitigation, renewable energy, circular economy, sustainable mobility, ecosystem restoration, sustainable food systems, mental health and well-being on campus, as well as green public procurement and sustainable infrastructure.
The dissertations in connection with the UNITA Alliance’s research and innovation hubs or its common territories (mountain, cross-border and rural areas), or with the regional smart specialization strategies will be particularly appreciated.
Prize pool:
First prize: 300 euros
Second prize: 200 euros
The application submission period is open between 14 October 2026 and 20 November 2026.
