Virtual exhibition on the World Science Day for Peace and Development
10 November 2026
Transilvania University Library invites the academic and extended community of Brașov to celebrate, on 10 November 2026, the World Science Day for Peace and Development, by attending its virtual exhibition dedicated to the role of science in international cooperation and sustainable development.
Under the title University Library – A Partner for Science Diplomacy, this exhibition promotes greater access to high-quality information, fosters the exchange of knowledge, and enhances collaboration across disciplines, institutions and countries.
In the light of science diplomacy, the information is a bridge between academic communities, and the library a facilitator of the access to documentary resources and scientific publications that support research, dialogue and mutual understanding.
Therefore, the library team is delighted to invite everyone interested to explore the selection of bibliographic resources and thus discover how science shapes our shared future based on knowledge, cooperation and peace.
