Prize of the Year - Erasmus+ Mobility

The students of Transilvania University of Brașov who benefited from an Erasmus+ mobility during the 2021-2022 academic year are invited to participate in the programme “PRIZE OF THE YEAR”. ERASMUS+ MOBILITY” (PA-MERAS), which awards the best performing Erasmus+ study or internship mobility.
A. Objectives of the PA-MERAS Programme
o to promote and support the Erasmus+ Mobility Programme among the students of Transilvania University of Braşov;
o to raise the quality of the students’ professional results during the study/internship mobility period;
o to form a group of Erasmus+ students to contribute to increasing the quality of education in the University.
B. Eligibility conditions
Candidates must cumulatively meet the following requirements:
o to have completed an Erasmus+ study/internship mobility during the 2021-2022 academic year (complete mobility file);
o to have fulfilled the contractual mobility obligations;
o to have submitted the application file within the time limit set by the calendar of events of the PA-MERAS Programme.
C. Application file
The application file will contain:
o the mobility essay (of a maximum of two pages), highlighting the special achievements obtained during the mobility;
o a letter of recommendation from a representative of the host university/institution (scanned copies are accepted);
o a recommendation letter from the Erasmus+ coordinator of the faculty/department/SDI (scanned copies are accepted);
o at least one suggestive photograph dating from the time of the mobility.
The application file will be submitted/sent by traditional mail to the University Registry, in a sealed envelope, with the name of the candidate and the faculty where s/he is enrolled. The selection criterion is the quality of the documents in the application file.
D. Calendar of events of the PA-MERAS Programme
o 03.10-31.10.2022 registration of the candidates for the competition, by submitting/sending via traditional mail the application files to the University Registry;
o 01.11-11.11.2022 analysis of the application files;
o 14.11.2022 announcement of the selection results on the university website;
o 15.11.2022 filing of appeals, which can only denounce procedural defects;
o 16.11.2022 announcement of the final results, following the settlement of appeals, on the university website.
The award ceremony will be held at a date to be announced.
Ineligible candidates/incomplete application files or files submitted after the registration time limit will not enter the competition.
