UNITBV returns to the hybrid scenario
From the second semester
At the proposal of the Executive Board, the Senate of Transilvania University of Brașov decided today the return of the didactic activities to the hybrid scenario, starting with the second semester. Specifically, the courses will take place online, whereas the seminars, laboratories and practical works will take place physically at the faculty.
Starting with 22 February, the students will return to school, but only for the seminars, laboratories and practical works.
From 28 October until now, all the didactic activities of the University were conducted exclusively online. In fact, the exam session, which began on 16 January, also takes place online. Exceptions are the exams of some disciplines taught by the Faculty of Music, which are taken in the presence of one student and of the examining teacher, respectively some disciplines taught by the Faculty of Medicine, where also some of the exams will take place under the same conditions.
On 15 February, the students of Transilvania University of Brașov will go on holidays; and the second semester will start on 22 February, in the hybrid scenario, regardless of the epidemiological context in the city or in the country.
At the same time, the dormitories of Transilvania University of Brașov will be open for all those accommodated here at the beginning of the academic year.
Both in the dormitories and in the seminar rooms, the students shall continue to observe the protection norms imposed by the authorities and by the University management.
Currently, over 20 000 students are learning within the bachelor’s, master's and doctorate study programmes of Transilvania University of Brașov.
