The Music Centre of Transilvania University of Brașov is particularly honoured to have as its guest the violinist Valentin Șerban, winner of the Grand Prize of George Enescu International Competition, 2020/2021 edition, to its own event that opens the 2022-2023 Concert Season. 

Valentin Șerban will give, together with the beloved pianist Dragoș Dimitriu, a recital-itinerary within the virtuoso violin repertoire, which is meant to capitalize on the full range of the two artists’ interpretive capacities, from the subtleties in the expression of personal affect to overcoming some technical elements with a high degree of difficulty (Mozart, Suk, Debussy, Ysaye, Saint-Saens, de Falla).

You are welcome to join us in a new musical and human journey, which will begin with the opening of the current concert season of Transilvania University.

The event will take place at “Sergiu Chiriacescu” Conference Centre, on 3 October 2022, starting at 6 p.m., and can be watched live on www.unitbv.ro and on the Facebook page of the Music Centre.

The entrance is free, within the limits of the available places.
