Health for All – the challenge of World Health Day 2023
6 April, at 3 p.m., “Sergiu T. Chiriacescu” International Conference Centre of Transilvania University
On Thursday, 6 April 2023, starting at 3 p.m., “Sergiu T. Chiriacescu” International Conference Centre of Transilvania University will host a round table under the aegis of World Health Day. It will be organized by Transilvania University of Brașov - Faculty of Medicine, together with the Center for Health Policies and Services of Bucharest.
The exhortation of this year’s World Health Day: “Health for All” becomes a challenge, if we look at the phenomenon of medical desertification that begins to make its presence felt more and more in Romania as well. This is why a debate will take place, which will address the risks brought along by the phenomenon of medical desertification, and will thoroughly study and analyze the possible solutions, such as the multi-year planning of the workforce demand in the field of health, the allocation of new roles and tasks in the community's health professional team, or the role of the multidisciplinary team in primary health care.
Along with the hosts of the event, Mrs. MD Cristina Agnes Vecerdi (Deputy PNL Brașov), Mr. Mihai Cătălin Văsii (Prefect, Brașov), Mrs. Anca Daisa (Executive Director, Health Insurance House of Brașov), Mrs. MD Claudia Bularca (Public Health Directorate of Brașov), together with other representatives of key professional institutions in the field of health headquartered in Brașov, are invited to the round table.
Anyone interested can attend the debate held at “Sergiu T. Chiriacescu” International Conference Centre.
