The team of UNITBV on behalf of Romania at Euroskills 2023 European Championship

The team of Transilvania University of Brașov represents Romania at Euroskills 2023 European Championship, an event held in Gdańsk, Poland, from 5 to 9 September 2023. The best 600 young people from 32 countries were selected to compete within the 43 sections of this European competition.
After Worldskills Kazan 2019 International Competition, Euroskills Gdańsk 2023 is Romania’s first participation in the Mechatronics section of the aforementioned European championship.
The team made up of Mihai Cristian COSMA and Adrian CORBOȘ, 1st-year students in the master’s degree study programme of Mechatronic Systems for Industry and Medicine, at the Faculty of Product Design and Environment, coordinated by Prof. dr. Eng. Luciana CRISTEA and Prof. dr. Eng. Marius Cristian LUCULESCU, will compete alongside young people from 17 other countries, over three days, in tests that will include:
· mechanical, electrical, pneumatic assembling of several FESTO automated mechatronic stations;
· commissioning and testing;
·developing specific applications for the equipment that controls the stations;
·maintenance (troubleshooting and solving faults and flaws);
·optimization.
