For the September session, Transilvania University of Brașov makes available approximately 4,000 places in all study cycles – bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, doctorate.

Among these, more than 2,200 places are available for the bachelor's degree programmes, of which almost 400 are tuition-free.

There are more than 1,700 free places for the master’s degree, of which a little over 300 are tuition-free.

Also this month, registrations have begun for the Doctoral School, where 61 budgeted places and 150 self-financed places are available for all 22 doctoral fields.

The only faculty for which registrations are no longer being made this fall is the Faculty of Medicine, where all undergraduate places have been filled in all study programmes since July. Places are available only in the graduate programmes Management of Preventive Strategies and Health Policies and Palliative Care Management and Strategies, for which registrations take place until 18 September at 1:00 p.m.

Admission to Transilvania University of Brașov, in most faculties, is on a file basis. The only exceptions are the Faculties of Physical Education and Mountain Sports, Music, and Psychology and Education Sciences where, even for the September session, a written, oral or practical exam will be held, depending on the chosen specialization.

The faculties with the fewest remaining places available for the September 2023 session are Psychology and Education Sciences, Economic Sciences and Business Administration, Sociology and Communication, and Mathematics and Computer Sciences. On the opposite side there are several faculties specialized in engineering, such as Silviculture and Forest Engineering, or Materials Science and Engineering.

The registration fee amounts to 200 RON, and the tuition fees range between 3,500 and 5,500 RON per year, depending on the faculty. Registration is done exclusively online until 9 September, 1 p.m.
