UNITBV – in top 5 Romanian universities within Times Higher Education ranking

Transilvania University of Brașov maintains its presence in the international academic top “Times Higher Education – World University Rankings 2025” alongside distinguished universities worldwide. Among the leading Romanian universities included in the top, UNITBV is ranked fifth, keeping its rating score obtained last year.
The top “Times Higher Education – World University Rankings 2025” includes more than 2000 universities all over the world and analyses academic performance from several perspectives: teaching, research, research quality, knowledge transfer and internationalization perspectives. Overall, 18 indicators were considered in analysing each university’s performance.
In this international ranking, Oxford University (United Kingdom) holds on to the top spot for the ninth consecutive year, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) moves up to second place, and Harvard University (USA) is ranked third.
