“1st of March Flowers” - Art exhibition
1 March 2025, “Sergiu T. Chiriacescu” Conference Centre, Transilvania University of Brașov
In the framework of the events organised to celebrate the Day of Transilvania University of Brașov, the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences invites you to visit the art exhibition “1st of March Flowers”.
The exhibition includes artworks in the string art techniques and acrylic painting on canvas. They are part of a complex collection hosted by our University’s Research and Development Institute, and are made by the students of several faculties, such as Psychology and Education Sciences (PSE), Physical Education and Mountain Sports (EFSM), Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (IESC), or Medicine, under the coordination of Assoc. Prof. Simona Indreica, PhD.
The compositions reflect not so much the creative side as the capability to learn any artistic technique from a procedural point of view; and the motor dexterity and speed of execution are the aspects in the foreground. Through these exhibits, the importance of training in skill development is masterfully proven, and the students’ high performance attained in just two months of practice is worth appreciating. Mrs. Simona Indreica’s expertise, not only psycho-pedagogical, but also as an internationally acclaimed artist (art name – Indreica Magher) is a motivational promoter for her students in Occupational Therapy.
You are welcome to visit the exhibition on 1 March 2025, between 10.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m., in the main lobby of “Sergiu T. Chiriacescu” Conference Centre.
The entrance is free.
