Mobile Minds in Motion
January 2025
As part of a European consortium composed of Transilvania University of Brașov, the European University Foundation - Luxembourg, Erasmus Student Network - Belgium, Selcuk University - Turkey, University of Porto - Portugal, University of Alcalá - Spain, and Vytautas Magnus University - Lithuania, our university coordinates the Mobile Minds in Motion – MMM project.
The project is funded under the Erasmus+ Key Action 2 programme, spans over 35 months, and has a budget of 400,000 euros.
Mobile Minds in Motion envisions a healthier and more inclusive mobility experience by fostering mental health prevention and awareness.
In late January, our university hosted the first partner meeting within the project, dedicated to initiating key actions in order to achieve the three main goals of the project:
1. Raise Awareness: Break the stigma surrounding mental health challenges faced by students in mobility, by encouraging open conversations.
2. Develop Prevention Strategies: Create tailored tools and materials to help students cope with the emotional and psychological demands while studying abroad.
3. Provide Sustainable Resources: Equip both the students and the personnel with practical and sustainable resources, such as a student self-assessment tool, as well as comprehensive guides for International Relations Officers (IROs) and counsellors.
