The first global network on Sustainable Tourism Destination Management will be launched in Romania on 21 November, within EARTH Conference, which takes place on the premises of the Faculty of Food and Tourism.

WeNaTour Alliance is a European network dedicated to innovation and education in sustainable tourism, financed through the Erasmus+ programme. 

WeNaTour Alliance comprises higher-education institutions, vocational training providers, tourism organizations, sustainability-oriented companies, environmental NGOs, researchers and experts in sustainable tourism, as well as local governments.

The objectives pursued by WeNaTour Alliance include: to train professionals in sustainable tourism, to create a European community of experts who share solutions, case studies and best practices in this emerging field, to promote nature-, health-, and wellbeing-oriented tourism, to support tourist destinations in the transition towards sustainable models, and to connect academia with local communities, with a view to creating opportunities for practice, internships and real-life projects in tourism. 

All persons and companies interested in joining the Alliance are welcome to attend the event on 21 November, starting at 10:00 a.m., at the Faculty of Food and Tourism (148 Castelului St.), in RP6 room.
