Prof. Florin Nechita, PhD, teaching within the Faculty of Sociology and Communication, Transilvania University of Brașov, will give a public presentation about his five-month experience as a Fulbright scholar in the United States of America, at Penn State University, which will be hosted in Training HUB (Rectorate building), on Monday, 30 March, starting at 5:00 p.m.

The presentation will offer a synthetic perspective on the academic activities and field research conducted in Pennsylvania. The experience included his participation in community development projects and initiatives dedicated to young people in rural areas and small towns. The academic activity included collaborations, participation in research courses and seminars, as well as direct interaction with the students and academic personnel within several departments of Penn  State University.

The event is an opportunity to gain valuable insight into the education and research, as well as everyday life of the USA.

The entrance is free, within the limit of available seats.
